Fixed an issue in the File Explorer that prevented users from navigating to different locations or opening folders.I also improved the Notes app with several new features: users can now import notes from .json or .txt files, undo and redo changes, save notes directly in the File Explorer, pin important notes, search through notes, view version history, and have changes saved automatically in real time.I also added functionality to the sound button, allowing users to adjust the volume percentage, although no sounds are currently available. Notifications have been added as well.

Mini devlog: I added the ability to change your username and other account details. The change profile picture button is currently just a placeholder, and profile pictures only display the first letter of your username. I’ll add proper profile picture support soon + a lock screen!

Finally!!!!!!!!!!!!, after debugging a bunch of errors and creating the UI, I now have a somewhat working version! It still has quite a few bugs, and the terminal is currently only a placeholder, but the project is finally starting to look and feel like a real operating system.

Next, I’m planning to add a fully working terminal, a file explorer, a settings app, a system information app, draggable apps, resizable windows, icon scaling ( it looks small on my current monitor ) and a functional clock. I also want to improve the overall performance, add animations and polish them, fix the remaining UI issues. There is still a lot of work left, but I’m really happy with how it looks so far and excited to continue developing it. If you have any ideas, feature suggestions, or feedback, feel free to let me know! :)

Today I finished the first working version of Splinterlog, a Slack bot that helps teams or groups turn recurring workflow frustrations into small improvement experiments

The bot currently has four commands:
/splinterlog-catch opens a form for reporting a recurring problem.
/splinterlog-board displays reported problems ranked by teammate signals.
/splinterlog-trial starts a measurable experiment for fixing a problem.
/splinterlog-guide explains how to use features.

I also added interactive buttons, modals, an App Home page, SQLite storage, duplicate action protection, permission checks, and scheduled trial reviews. The seven local database and workflow tests are passing.
