Tickets to The Moon
Ticket To Fly is a space travel booking app built entirely in a single index.html file. You can pick destinations like Mars or the Moon, customize your mission, and get a downloadable boarding pass with a working QR code.
The hardest part was managing state, live pricing math, and saving past passes to localStorage using pure JavaScript with zero frameworks. Getting html2canvas to export clean PNGs was pretty frustrating to debug too.
I’m super happy with how the UI turned out—especially the background starfield and the pass archive system (used Gemini & Perplexity to help brainstorm and troubleshoot parts of it).
How to test:
Pick “One-Way” or click outer planets to find easter eggs.
Switch currency between USD and ★STARDUST at checkout.
Finish a booking to download your pass, then click ARCHIVE in the header to view saved tickets.
