Im currently adding an option to filter suggestions and its getting kind of annoying AND to add to the mishap, I have exceeded my allowed codespaces coding time or something like that so I will try and get that sorted out at some point maybe today maybe tommorow.

THE APP IS DONE! I went into supabase and set that up so now everyone can see any suggestion posted.
Well it’s not really finished but I’m going to add things like moderation and other features later but for now, it’s ready to ship and I’ll work on it more for WebOS 2!

I’m almost finished with the second app I’m making (an app where you can suggest things I could add) - and I have done the form that you fill out to submit something (unless I decide to add more things) so now I’m working on an area where you can view all suggestions made.

So I made the window and app icon for my second app and now I just need to add content that’s going to be in the app which I’ll probably start working on tommorow. After this app is done it’ll be ready to ship and then I can start doing more on it for the second part of this mission and earn more stardust :). I should work harder if I want to make it in time.

Yayy I finished my notes app (for now - idk if I want to add things like typing in bold, italics, etc… later) and I added a word and character count that shows the words and characters for text you highlight which is pretty neat.

I think I should probably post a devlog before I reach 10 hrs so here it is. I really should have done another one recently but oh well. I’m almost finished with the first app I’m making. I have finished the ‘my notes’ section - it has a menu of entries of notes and for the ‘your notes’ section, you can write notes that are automatically saved, there are word and character counts and soon I will make it so that the text you highlight, the counts for that will show instead and I might add features like writing in bold, italics, different font, etc… I have also made windows resizeable and I think that’s about it.

Oh my golly goodness why is the time I have ‘spent’ coding so damn high? I feel like this number most likely is inflated by at least a couple hours but I swear I’m not doing it on purpose. The number just keeps rising somehow!

Anyway I haven’t finished my first app yet and I’m going pretty damn slow. I now have it so when I click a window it rises to the top and that’s the most of it I think. Nothing compared to what you would expect from allegedly 3.5 more hours coding time from my last dev log!

I can now drag around, close and open my windows and I’m about to make my first app and after that I’ll make my second, finish the jam and ship it and then start working on it more for WebOS 2.

Devlog #4:

I have finished the second part of making my WebOS and will start part 3 soon. I have also added an extra thing with the help of ChatGPT (i made a bottom bar with the time on it that stays in place no matter where you scroll :D).

(I am new to this stuff and it’s taking a crap ton of time don’t judge or whatever)

Devlog 2:

My Web OS is coming along better and honestly I probably should have more done for the time I have logged but I am completely new to HTML so I am learning at every step. I want to add a white background around the text next so I’ll do that maybe tommorow because it’s late for me rn.

The background is animated which is pretty cool although you can’t see in the screenshot.

I’ve just started my first project and I’m struggling lol. The first part of this thing was meant to only take 30 mins but its been more time than that so far and I’m not even halfway through :(. This devlog won’t be visible to most people yet lol because I’m having trouble doing the identity verification thing because it says I used all my attempts or whatever even though I don’t think I did XD.
