Building a Windows performance monitoring and analytics dashboard from scratch using C# and WPF (.NET), developed in VS Code with the C# Dev Kit.
Progress so far:
- Set up the .NET WPF project structure and Git repository.
- Got the application running with a working base window.
- Built the main dashboard shell — sidebar navigation (Dashboard, CPU, GPU, RAM, Storage, Network, Processes) alongside a main content area, styled with a dark theme
Tech stack: C#, .NET, WPF, XAML, Git/GitHub.
Next up: Implementing real-time CPU monitoring as the first live data panel.
