I have built a website/game that is called:
The Infinite Scroooollll…

REDUCED LAG EVEN MORE!!!

You can ONLY scroll on my one of a million trash LG televison for probably less than 100$

The Infinite Scroooollll… is a game where you need to scroll for a long time (depending on how fast and strong your finger are)
I am proud of this website because i have spend a long time on it and it has been very complicated building and VS Code also ragebaited me a lot

Features:
○ A scrolling function that is unsolvable and malfunctioning because the background is overlapping the site so it can follow you while scrolling to reduce lag and that is why i added this next one:
○ The holy finger saving Auto Scroller with adjustable speed multiplier
○ Speed multiplier for the Auto Scroller

If you are testing this you should now this:
○ If you are not using the Auto Scroller your finger will probably hurt after reaching the end.
○ You cant scroll because of an unsolvable bug

DEVLOG 4 - Troubleshooting 1

I ran into i big problem when i was testing, because i found out as i was coding that my website could’nt scroll down because a problem with the background image that follows as you scroll. I tried using AI to solve the problem because i could’nt fix it but AI also could’nt without making the background locked in one place so i added an Auto scroll button that you NEED to activate for it to scroll down. But that was gonna be to slow so for now i have added a changeable speed multiplier for the Auto scroller that rn only has 1x speed and 2x speed

CloudCore OS

CloudCore OS is a browser-based desktop environment built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It recreates the feel of a modern operating system directly inside the browser, featuring a window-based interface, application management, personalization, and persistent local storage.

The project is focused on creating a lightweight and expandable WebOS while demonstrating what can be achieved using only standard web technologies.

✨ Features

Desktop Environment

  • Modern desktop interface
  • Draggable and focusable application windows
  • Responsive layout
  • Glassmorphism-inspired UI
  • Taskbar and desktop icons
  • Window management system

Built-in Applications

  • 🌐 Browser
  • 📝 Notes (Auto Save)
  • 📖 Journal
  • 🧮 Calculator
  • ⚙️ Settings

Personalization

  • Wallpaper selection
  • Custom wallpaper uploads
  • Persistent user preferences
  • Desktop customization

Application Management

  • Built-in App Store
  • Install new applications
  • Uninstall installed applications
  • Dynamic application loading

Storage

  • Local Storage support

  • Automatically saves:

    • Notes
    • Journal entries
    • Wallpapers
    • Installed apps
    • User settings

🛠 Built With

  • HTML5
  • CSS3
  • JavaScript (Vanilla)

No frameworks or external libraries are required.

💡 How It Works

CloudCore OS runs entirely inside the browser.

Every application opens inside its own movable desktop window, providing an operating system-like experience without requiring any installation.

User data is stored locally using the browser’s Local Storage API, allowing applications, wallpapers, notes, and settings to persist between sessions.
