Completely forgot to record me making the PCB, but I’ve finished the case in TinkerCAD! Next up I’m going to work on the QMK Firmware and adding any finishing touches.
I decided not to go with any LEDs since I’m maxing out the pins (8 keys, rotary encoder, and the screen), though the model for the switches has it included.
While trying to figure out how routing works, I found this neat software called Freerouting which lets you automatically do it (rest assured that I checked to make sure there were no mistakes).
Overall I’m extremely proud of my design so far (haven’t thought of a proper name for it yet), especially since this is my first ever proper hardware project!
