I created a navigation bar for when I choose to further differentiate the sections. I also added 2 articles to Satire to show the general idea of what those articles will look like.

I made some changes to the css and format. Wrote the first article (to be clear, I only plan on writing a few introductory articles to show the idea of this site and what it’ll look like before shipping). Next I plan to make it more interactive and add more details using CSS
As a Latin student, I randomly had the idea to make an ancient Roman themed site. Further brainstorming inspired me to have a satire site, and what better person to gain inspiration from than the late and great Horace. I’ve gotten as far as creating the header. Next I plan to create the sections where I’ll post articles and such
Made last minute changes by updating the random facts section and the navigation bar. I also wrote the README. Finally deployed and I’m finally shipping!
I’ve redone the styling completely to make the whole page resemble a piece of paper and post-its to kind of reflect my own love for school and writing. I think I’m done for now and will probably submit this for review to the mission after uploading it to github and writing the README.
Hi! I’ve finished the official tutorial and have the base of my website. Next I plan to improve the layout by using CSS to better style it to make it more me and not like a copy of the tutorial.
I added one final app (for now) and finally deployed it with github!
I rediscovered (and edited for colors) a snake clone i made a while back and added it in as another app. I also implemented custom hidden messages that only show up with certain keywords
Kind of gave up on following the tutorial by now. Added two more apps: Melbot, which is a fake AI that responds with a bunch of pre-written sarcastic replies no matter what. And “Thinks”, which is essentially where I can put random questions/thoughts/deep sentences that come to mind (if I choose to).
Got my first app running. Finally got to declunk my css code. Almost done with part 4 of the tutorial. Never really sure what to share here.
finished part 3 of the tutorial. currently struggling to move the styles to css (that’s what you get for choosing to use a million different fonts). Working behind the scenes on some other artwork to make it more personal
Realized that I haven’t done one of these yet. I’ve mostly completed up to part 2 of the tutorial. Tried my best to deviate from the tutorial but I’ll make it even more personal once I’ve finished the basics
got my little game running finally
got some of the sprites finished and started working on the code
