Hello !! new devlog here , so today i starded with the traces and the routing part of the pcb , it took bit long and also once i accedently closed my kicad without saving it but yahh so i added all the cad to the footprints , first it took a long to find the cad for this but thanks to the (https://github.com/joe-scotto/scottokeebs) he’s a youtuber of which i followed guide while making the pcb , there was resources too so overall i think the keyboard looks good but there was a problem that normal keyboard has the “row-staggered layout” but because of low space for the keys , i used the “row-staggered layout” which will for sure affect the typing experience for this but its fine cause i will adjust it and use it anyway and because of the “row-staggered layout” we saved some space and now moving forward i will start making the cad stuff now !! HELLOOOO Everyone im here with a new fresh devlog!! so today i started with the hard part first , the pcb designing cause even though the pcb is harder but i like to do it more than making the cad 😒…. so yeah today i started with the keyboard part where i made the schematics of the keyboard’s pcb where its a basic 50 keys mechanical keyboard using the low profile choc keys probably the V1.. , a mini oled screen for playing cool bongo cat animation a joystick for navigating instead of the external mouse or the track pad with two buttons (right and left click ) just like the mouse which will be placed at the grip of the deck !! and finally everything powered by the rpi pico !!! so next i will move to placing these components properly inn the place then wiring them up in the pcb editor + assigning footprints etc !! till then BYE BYE

Heloooo !! everyone im Oru!! and welcome to my first ever hackclub project’s first ever devlog !! so let me introduce my project so my project is Doomsday deck!! as the name say its a cyberdeck !! yes a cyberdeck but not you’re typical cyberdeck cuz im building custom case, custom keyboard and custom carrier board which will have the features like (lora,sdr,external i/o pins for tinkering with the external hardware a secret port which i will not revil yet cause i want you to stay with my this journey of making my very own deck ) and many other such features and yes im always open to get the advise or if you want me to add any feature which will make the deck good , the comment box is always open for you !!!!!! and so in the first devlog i made the basic sketch of the deck , it took me lots of time cause i was also finalizing what parts im going to use here but as the rules Sayed that the documents reading and web browsing does not count in the lapse , i followed it and only lapsed the sketching part and writing part !! and if you are still reading till here THANKS A LOT !! and stay tune for the future updates in the mean time you can also like this devlog till then BYE BYE !!!
