IT FINALLY WORKED!! My webOS now features Chemistry Calc (a Chemistry calculator) for calculating molar mass and converting between grams and moles, a Molecule Builder that displays chemical formulas and atom counts, and a Reaction Lab to teach you about different types of reactions with a mini quiz.

Ichi’s Otter Pet is a 2D desktop pet game made with Godot Engine and GDScript, inspired by my best friend and their love for cute and blue things. It features a pixel-art otter that walks around, occasionally idles, and interacts with collectible items, including a blue pebble, blue pen, ladybug, and blue gem. Players can buy these items from the otter or return them through interactive dialogs. Buying items earns coins for the otter, which are tracked by a CoinManager script that updates the coin display and manages purchases. I also created a draggable fish treat that the otter can purchase automatically for three coins when it gets close enough. The treat respawns at the center if the player has enough coins; otherwise, it disappears until they earn more. Through this project, I learned about animations, movement, interactive objects, currency systems, debugging, and GitHub version control. The hardest part was coding the coin systems. All graphics were created by me, making this a personal and creative learning experience.

I’M DONE WITH MY NEW PET YIPPIEEEE!! Today was a productive day for Ichi’s Otter Pet! I added more collectible items, including the blue pebble, blue pen, ladybug, and blue gem, and improved the selling system so players can sell items to the otter or return them. I also created a coin system that tracks earnings and updates the coin display, plus a draggable fish treat that the player can move anywhere on the screen. The otter now automatically spends 3 coins when it reaches the fish treat, which respawns at the center if the player can afford it or disappears until they earn enough coins again. I updated the project documentation, committed my changes, and successfully pushed the latest version to GitHub. There was a lot of coding, debugging, and testing, but seeing the mechanics finally work made the little otter’s world feel much more alive!

I created IchiPett, a small desktop pet inspired by my actual cat. It features a walking cat, occasional idle animations, an interactive fish that can be dragged toward the cat, and floating hearts when the cat is clicked. One of the most challenging parts was making the cat move around the window while keeping the interactions working properly, especially dragging the fish and making it disappear temporarily before reappearing. I’m proud that I was able to turn my idea into a working project and create the sprites and animations myself. To test IchiPett, users can download the project or its available build, follow the instructions in the README, and try clicking the cat and dragging the fish toward it. By the way, I made the artworks too. Those took me about 45 minutes.

I created “Ichi Slack Bot,” an animal-themed Slack bot created as part of the NASA Stardance Challenge. This is my first coding project outside of school. I created it while learning the basics of JavaScript, APIs, Slack bot development, and programming through Stardance. The bot is designed around my interest in animals and chemistry. It provides information about cats and dogs, including animal-related chemistry, breeds, foods that dogs should avoid, and feeding reminders. I had fun while doing this, although I was quite puzzled about how to use GitHub at first!

I made a website about chemistry with built-in apps. The website is designed as a small digital laboratory where visitors can explore chemistry notes, the periodic table, chemistry topics, learning resources, and an interactive chemistry quiz. I wanted to combine my interest in chemistry with a fun and personal web design, so I created the website to look like a small desktop environment with different chemistry applications. It was quite hard since it took me a lot of time and it’s only my 2nd time doing this.
