Well I made v1 of my slackbot Pisces that will function as an assistant for my main project Pisces! Currently it has 3 very basic commands, help, status, and ping. Test ping out ;) But in the future I plan to add several more commands that will connect to my main site and when I add firebase to it it will become super cool. I plan to make it so ppl can check their account status and like their hours on the website, their ranking, their current favorite planet and whatnot, and also mybe ill add a command that lets them check daily astro news that is grabbed from the main website which grabs it from other sources such as nasa etc.

I built my slackbot for the stardance mission :). I used ai to help me debug some errors when trying to setup my slackbot locally and deploy it to nest for 24/7 but idk why the hackatime was glitching and it said like 70% of the time I spent on hackatime was by ai :/. Its ok though. I called it pisces :) its based off of my main project and cuz its my favorite constellation. I just implemented the basic commands tough. :/ I will add some more in the future but for now this is the current v1.

Redid the hamburger menu, watched a tutorial on it and had to keep tweaking cuz it was either buggy or looked weird. Managed to make it look decent but still needs some work. I still needa fix the issue when after opening the hamburger menu I cant close it. Oh and I added a cool animation of the hamburger when you click it it turns into 2 lines sorta like a arrow shaped thingy.

I redid the entire homepage and the first thing you see now is a minimalistic black screen with a navbar and in the top left of it it says Pisces and top right there’s a hamnburger. Both don’t work but its ok Im still learning. I also added a hero and its split into two sections. one section is just the main screen when you load it up with the big words PISCES on it and Begin your journey below it with a interactive down arrow that bounces up and down. And then I also increased the height of the entire webpage so it scrolls into the next section below which shows 2 cards one of earth and the other of mars. Not really much there yet. Oh and the down arrow you can click it and there’s a smooth transition into the next section which are the planet cards.

Ok, sooooo I completely scrapped the idea of using AI and now I’m gonna learn myself. :) I remember some things but still very very hard and confusing. This is what I got so far!! Pretty proud of it. Took me a while to figure out how to get the image to be constricted within the box.

I made an interactive astronomy website designed to make learning and exploring astronomy much more visual and interesting. I created a cinematic entrance that has a jigsaw theme, I also added facts and images for planets and deep space objects. I also built an interactive journey through astronomical scales, from planets and stars to galaxies and the broader universe. You can also add markers along the journey and return to them later. I used AI heavily for coding while I directed the concept and design, tested the site, debugged it and reviewed the results and worked through some simpler problems as I learned.

Added back the Journey, homepage/hub, planet facts, and deep space stuff that got disconnected while I was rebuilding the entrance. I also made a transition from the jigsaw entrance into the actual PISCES homepage, so now the entrance actually leads somewhere lol.
Disclaimer: Used AI heavily for the coding. I directed what I wanted, tested it, reviewed the results, debugged problems, and kept making changes to the final product.

Ok, sooooo lets see. I finally got the vision I wanted. I basically made it so when you click into the website it creates a entrance animation where you are flying through space with lots of jigsaw pieces, each with a picture of a cool astronomy thing. I then made it all fly into place to create this giant jigsaw and fade slightly dark and then PISCES piece together the universe would come in. I chose Pisces because it looks like pieces and its my favorite constellation :)
Disclaimer: I used Ai a lot for the coding (I’m pretty nooby and still learning) I directed the design explained my vision/concept. I also tested, reviewed the design and debugged problems and kept things changed until it fitted my idea

Decided to remake everything as I felt like in order to really make it work I needed a proper opening animation. I also decided to rename the site pisces after the constellation and the theme is a puzzle. The opening I am trying to make is a gigantic puzzle like bluelock with the marvel comic animation flashback but with stars, galaxies, blackholes, other interesting things in each puzzle piece.

Today I added cards as my category for each planet and added a button that when you click it it generates a random planet from the solar system and provides data on it such as the amount of moons, its gravity, diameter, etc..
