Today I wired up some more components and educated myself on different things. Sadly, I noticed that I wasn’t recording after about and hour soooo that was pretty unfortunate, but itll be fine. I also havent been able to code as much because of school but I hope that I’ll be able to code a bit during the week. Anyways, I wired up a component called LMR51430 and it was pretty fun.

I wired up some components today during class;) and at home. I also got a bit confused with the net labels and labels and values for the power Grounds, but on the other hand I learned a bit about schematics and used the schematics for my usb-c connector and battery charger, I am pretty new to Kicad but I’m getting better and I should be much better at reading schematics and electrical stuff after this challenge. My first regulator is also in progress I should finish wiring it up in next session.

Today I learned some more about Kicad and electronics. I’ve been trying to make this flight controller pretty quickly since I only have one month until Stardance ends, I’m really grateful that they extended the deadline;) I made some net labels and connected some wires today, importing the libraries for easyeda2kicad took me way too much time but I figured it out after playing around in finder, kicad and terminal for about an hour. I’m really excited to wire up the battery charger tomorrow and am really trying to get to the fusion360 (CAD) part as fast as possible because I’m not too comfortable with kicad yet. See yall in the next one!

Today I finished the last minigame🎉 in my WarioWare game. I spent some time debugging again because of an issue regarding my scenes in between levels. It was a very amateur mistake but the good part is that I was able to fix it pretty quickly. I will be ready to ship my WarioWare2 game soon but I still need to make sure that there aren’t any bugs and that the player lives make sense. I also need to update my README.md on Github because I added two more minigames to the original game. I’m very excited to finish my project soon. Until next time gang!😁 Oh and I also added fixed some issues with the spikes in my 4th minigame!

Today I fixed the bullet issue this morning, after tweaking the z index of the boss and other things that were affecting the bullets. I also finished the 3rd minigame and about 80 percent of my 4th minigame, i’m very to ship my project soon but I sadly won’t be able to spend a lot time coding anymore because of school:(. I made some platforms and spikes for my minigame, Wario is supposed to die on contact and lose a life, I still have to figure out how to do that but it shouldn’t be too difficult. I had a game tester (a relative) try out my game and he gave me some nice feedback on it. I still think that my 4th minigame is a bit too difficult so I might give the player some more time to complete it. I also had to move Wario because it was too difficult to complete while I was debugging .

Today I made the background, platforms, bullets and boss for my third minigame. I have been working on a cool boss but I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to make it move properly. I also wrote the scripts for everything and they turned out pretty nice. My game has some weird bugs for some reason but thats an issue for tomorrow. The Boss’s bullets also seem to spawn behind it😭 and i’m kind of confused as to why that’s happening. I also fixed some issues with the size of the bullet and Wario falling off of the map because I forgot to make a floor🤦‍♂️. I didnt have any problems with my health label surprisingly and i’m pretty glad. I’ve noticed that being a game dev means that you have to spend hours debugging stuff but that’s alright because the final product is always worth it. Anywho see ya peeps.
