Devlog: Building a Slack Bot for Stardance ⚡Wanted to ship something functional for the Hack Club Stardance challenge, so I built a custom Slack bot to automate workspace interactions. What I Built & Used:Tech Stack: JavaScript, Node.js, and the @slack/bolt framework.Used Socket Mode to handle real-time events without needing a public HTTP endpoint.Managed API tokens securely using environment variables.Challenges & Wins:The Snag: Handling asynchronous event handling took a bit of debugging to make sure response times stayed fast. The Win: Got real-time event listeners working smoothly and successfully deployed the bot to handle live interactions.Moving on to integrating more automated features next! 🚀#Devlog #JavaScript #NodeJS #BuildInPublic #HackClub #Stardance
