Today was the GPIO issue day I suppose.
THE ONE BIG MISTAKE.
That was I forgot about the A and B pins of the Rotatory encoder. One smart girl I am :|
I figure i need more then 14 pins of the XIAO RP2040. I straight up asked chatGPT and as per its suggestions I have now added the MCP23017-E_SP GPIO extender. It has given me total of 16 extra GPIO pins and now. I found and added the Symbol and footprint from a github repo. And thankfully it seems to be working.

I am now learning how to adjust my placements, work with Via and properly manage the wiring in PCB design. I hope I can make it proper soon.

I started working on a version 1 of the schematic of the Normpad.
I wanted it to be clean and organized. Hence I have properly labeled the
Sections of the schematic.
It took me 2 hours and I have recorded a time lapse using Lookout. But
as I am unable to add the time lapse it self I am adding its picture.

This was the second most tedious task of the day. took me 45min to Find
add and organize the right footprints based on the items provided by the
hackclub to build the hackpad.
Also the XIAO provided by the SEED studio and the care package differ a
lot. Finally I came to the conclusion that the one provided in the care
package works the best.
I am adding the the footprints I have used. Hope this saves someones time in the future.

I have just started with PCB editor of Kicad and I have to figure out
yet that how to design and make the proper traces. I am refering to the
Orpheuspad mentioned in the hackpad guide. Its quite useful but not as
per my requirements. There are no LED’s added in it which I want to, No
capacitors etc.
So I need to figure this out on my own i guess.
The rough PCB is as the following right now.

I would like your advises on the PCB editor, how to use it, any tricks
to use or any references to look into. Anything helpful will be
appriciated.

I have done too many things and I forgot to add devlogs time to time, sorry for that. But I am including everthing in this one log. Please spare my ignorance.

i took this project because, when someone asked me what have you worked on, I had nothing to show them my work except my github profile.

Unique things in my website that I added (after stardance started), making it special include the yellow dot cursor, sliding morph animated preloader, Cool looking things like ring in contact page and a nice projects display section.

The Dot cursor :
The inspiration for this was the unique cursor in Beest.hackclub.com website. I also wanted something like that but I wanted it to be simple as well. So I made it into a dot. To be honest I love dots.
So when you are in my website all you can use to navigate is this yellow little ball. I hope its cute(Not as cute as me though)

Sliding Prloader :
I wanted to make a preloader for my website, but I wanted it to be different from the usual ones. So I came up with this idea of sliding morph animation. It took me a lot of time to make it, but I am happy with the result. Initially I added a circular animation, the normal one we see everyday when things buffer, yeah yeah that one. But then I worked out this.

The ring in contact page : This is something very simple when you just seeit as it is. But what I did uniquely is making it responsive. Try it on a mobile. You will see the magic. it looks simple but is elegent.

Projects diplay section in index page :
I have kept this simple because it is the 3rd iteration that you see in the website. I have failed 2 times with this one. See, I made it simple first, It was just boring and of nothing good, just a square box. Then I made a scroll, similar to the one you look but for some reason it refused to get postioned properly. No matter what I did, flex justify center allign center, nothing worked. So I had to redo evrthing again and finally ended up with this one. I added hover and links to repo to make it more asthetic and useful and not jsut display.

Rest mentionable is the design style and colours. I have learned some design concepts to make this website nice.
