I added Dark Mode the page and also fixed up the website by using a little bit of JavaScript. I also wrote the readme file inside which i also added screenshots of the website for a quick preview. That’s all. I am prolly going to ship the project now. Thank you
So i basically added a CSS file and coded in the CSS from the screenshot it might look like i deleted a lot of stuff but I actually made it a bit down you can either scroll down or use the buttons at the top right of the page. That’s all
So basically by following the guide i made the basic structure of my personal website. I added a header , introduction and even an about me. Below the about me i added the names and very short descriptions of my previous projects along with a link to my GitHub profile. That’s All!
I finally managed to finish the project. I focused on polishing the website and making it more interactive and user-friendly. I added smooth animations, responsive mobile design, Previous/Next navigation, a sharing feature, improved loading and error messages, and a back-to-top button. I also refined the overall space-themed interface and made the APOD experience easier to explore. Now i am finally going to ship the project. That’s all. Thank you again!
I added a crazy feature now you can basically check the NASA APOD of any day withe rest of the feature still the same. Thank you
I finally connected the website to NASA’s APOD API and made it dynamically load the Astronomy Picture of the Day. I also added a description for the photo. Additionally I also coded some CSS and fixed up the user interface. Thank you.
I finally set up hackatime properly and made the basic user interface with a description of the page and also a button for viewing todays APOD but as of now the button has no function i still have to integrate the API. That’s all
I finally changed the background of the operating system and i added the final feature which was the Calendar app. The cool feature about this app is that even if you go far back in time using the arrow keys, you can still come back to the exact day by the click of the today button. This was the final feature on my operating system, now i am prolly going to ship the project. That’s all Thank you.
I added one more app to my operating system, which is the weather app .Not only can it show the weather of one city nut it can show the weather in almost any city. This is possible due to the search bar. It even show the forecast for the next 5 days. I also made the icon for the calendar app, now i just have to code it in and also i changed back the close icon back to the right.
As part of Web OS-2’s missions guild lines i finally added a calculator app to my operating system which can do most basic calculation that almost any calculator can do . I also made a huge decision of shifting the close icon from right to left. That’s all!
Finally made my first advanced app with different divisions for each of my hobbies and projects and much more these button are actually clickable. Each section displays different parts with their own little description. Probably going to ship my project now cus it is already complete. Thank you!
Yesterday i made the icons and most of the operating system and today i made one of the apps named “Library of Ohara” actually function like a window which can also be dragged, like the main window.
I am working on my very own custom operating system, so i had a lot of problems with the image sizing and the draggable windows and the open and close buttons. But with the help of some prior experience i was able to fix many of these issues.
