Rewrote Focus Blocker with 3 major QoL improvements: named presets (multiple blocklists for different contexts like study/gaming, not just one global list), a stats command showing total sessions and focus time, and an interactive setup wizard so you don’t have to manually edit text files. Also added a remove command for presets and a help command. The trickiest part was debugging subtle bash issues — a missing space inside [[ ]] that silently broke number validation every time, and a case statement where the wildcard pattern was catching commands before they could match their real cases. To test: run ./focus setup to configure it interactively, then ./focus to block a named preset, and ./focus stats to see your history.

Built a Slack bot with 5 slash commands: /zair-ping (latency check), /zair-help (list commands), /zair-catfact and /zair-joke (fetch from public APIs), and /zair-8ball (magic 8-ball). Deployed it on Hack Club Nest as a systemd service with auto-restart, so it stays online 24/7 even when my laptop is closed. The trickiest part was getting the systemd service and Slack Socket Mode auth working together, and registering new slash commands in the Slack app config after adding them to the code. To test: run any of the commands in the workspace where the bot is installed, e.g. /zair-8ball will this ship?
