My project was ready to ship but since I am a very new coder I used AI to complete this project. Therefore my project was flagged with 50% AI whereas the threshold is 30% AI use. Now I am trying to code by myself a few more components so that I can get my AI use to 30% and human code to 70% and I’ll publish my project as soon as possible.

I built a progress tracker for Hack Club’s Stardance challenge — a dashboard that tells you what your hours are actually worth.
It works out your real stardust rate from your percentile and multiplier, shows how many of your tracked hours are actually payable versus how many the devlog cap is quietly eating, and tells you how far you are from the reward you’re saving for — in hours of coding, not just a number.
Right now it’s built around Stardance, but nothing about the structure is Stardance-specific. The next step is making it work for any hackathon: live listings of what’s running, which ones are still open to join, how to enter, deadlines and prizes — all in one place instead of scattered across Slack and a dozen tabs.
The hardest part wasn’t the logic — it was the presentation. A tracker only works if you actually want to open it, so most of my time went into making the dashboard something you’d choose to look at.
I’m a new coder, so I leaned on AI and a lot of YouTube to get here, and I’m not going to pretend otherwise. Start to finish it took me about 12 hours.
One thing worth being upfront about: there’s no database and no accounts. Everything lives in your browser’s local storage. That means no signup, nothing to log into, and none of your data ever leaves your machine. The trade-off is real — your progress doesn’t sync between devices, and clearing your browser data clears it. So there’s one-click export/import if you want to back it up or move it across.

Hi folks, I have changed the planning of my Stardance Challenge Tracker so I’m trying to gamify it more. I am improving the visuals very much, adding sound effects, good music, good effects, and good animations. I am adding an arcade section with Pacman, a companion AI agent which you can talk to by putting your API key in it. Stay tuned with me. It will be live very soon. I think by tomorrow, 27th of August, it will be live

Hi folks, I have started working on the HTML part of this Stardance tracker dashboard. I have made a basic not-visually-appealing project right now. Since I am a very basic coder I don’t have that much experience. I am not an old coder or an experienced coder so I have made a basic dashboard. Now I will discover some topics about how I can enhance this project. I think I’ll complete this project by tomorrow or the 28th and I’ll publish it on that day itself.

Hey guys, I have started to brainstorm and concluded these features for my stardance tracker. I am building a stardance tracker where you can track your stardance challenge progress, wish list, and many more things with proper analytics. This will help you to stay consistent by seeing your progress and achieving milestones. It’s a very cool thing. I’m very new at coding so I’ll try my best for this.
