hi guys!! i updated Silky OS to v2.0.
a minimalist and typo focused webOS built with HTML, CSS, and javascript inspired by minimalist aesthetic and clean digital workspaces.

the key updates in v2:
-a new settings app: i built the settings interface into a sidebar layout with tabs for wallpaper selection, system info&specs, and window transparency controls!

• new silky terminal: i added a functional terminal with commands like /help, /clear, /open [app], and /date.

-new calculator app: i built and integrated a clean retro inspired calculator into the desktop workspace.

-graphic refinement: cleaned up typography using instrument serif & sans and smoothed out window layering and drag behavior.

I just finished ferfolio, I had to redo it cuz I didn’t like it, but now im very happy with the results and I did it in just 2 hours!! I used html5, css3 and a little bit of js. and for typography I used chat favour, instrument sans and space mono

i deployed Silkybot!! a custom node.js slack bot built with slack/bolt, running 24/7 on a nest cloud server managed with systemd

features:
24/7 uptime: runs in the background as an auto restarting systemd service (silkybot.service).
slash commands: integrated /silkybot-fact for dynamic trivia and more!
auto moderation: listens and flags restricted words in channels.
automated standups: configured daily team check in reminders using node-cron

i made silky os, it was very challenging cuz I barely had any experience doing a web os, but im very happy with the result, and yea, I know its basic but is functional and I like how it turned out!!
