I made git archaeologist, a python CLI app that analyzes Git repository history, including commits, contributors, activity, and inactivity gaps
the most challenging part is working with git python library as i have never used it once, packaging it as a proper CLI was also challenging.
im proud that i turned an idea into a fully working and functional, installable tool even with JSON outputs, documentation, and a PyPI release.
people should know that it has multiple flags to use like –history, –activity, –summary, –timeline, and –json, more info on that here: https://pypi.org/project/git-archaeologist/

the problem solved:
Git history contains alot of useful info, but extracting these meaningful insights manually can be very time consuming. git archaeologist automates this analysis fully and presents it in a CLI form

3 major QoL improvments:

1. Quick repository summaries - view important data without manually inspecting git history
2. Activity and inactivity analysis - quickly identify the most active periods and longest gaps in dev
   3,. Multiple output formats - use readable CLI output or structured JSON for further processing

A clear QoL improvment:
Instead of running multiple git commands and manually calculating statistics, users can run just one command to get a complete flawless overview of their repository

i made an iris flower predictor both GUI and CLI versions, it was easy to do the AI model, but the GUI was kind of challenging since it was my first time making a website using python, it take in measurements in cm and predicts the species and gives you probablilities too!
