Finished Enderman Minigame, I took a break yesterday after pulling an all-nighter at a sleepover, but I’m back at it. It was really easy to make, just a _input function detecting if there was an input (I know, so hard). But I also added an animation when done so it looks like you killed the enderman. Gonna start working on the dishes minigame tommorow
GOOD NEWS, the nether portal minigame was a lot easier to make, I have all the sprites in and now that this is done, I’ll just make the enderman game tomorrow(basically where you can’t type or move), that should also be easy but good progress so far
just wasted another 1 and 30 minutes trying to fix the crafting, to no avail, Im scrapping that minigame and I have started to just work on the nether portal build. Should be a lot easier because all I’ll need is two texture buttons to choose between flint and steel and obsidian, and more buttons to build it. I know the obsidian looks blurry but I don’t really have any other screenshots to share
I added a crafting system. Also inventory slots that can hold items. The items can be dragged and dropped and should theoretically snap right onto the inventory slot (code always works first try, right?)
Just finished making the click game, after this I plan on making a game where you have to combine the wood and diamonds in a crafting table to make a pickaxe, it will be a bit hard but it will be super cool if I am actually able to do it
Just finished making my running, jumping, and idle animation for my character in aseprite and was able to put it into the game with my own code. Pretty simple stuff, but I did have to change the Y for the jump because I put the jump in the center when making it instead of putting it at the bottom for the right hitbox. Will finish this tommorow and hopefully start on the next minigame tommorow too
Another Update, just finished making the heart system for the game, So far the guide has made this pretty easy for me, but I already have some ideas for after I get through the two minigames it guides me through. This has been really fun, I will send an update after making my minigame.
Just finished making the main title for my game in godot, its setup so now All i have to do is come up with my minigame ideas. I got the idea for this because I actually speedrun minecraft and what better exemplifies doing as many tiny games as possible as fast as possible than literally speedrunning (it wont be speedrunning minecraft but a different game that I am yet to come up with). If you have any ideas for microgames that would be good with speedrunning feel free to share!
