Devlog #2- Hi Hi! I finished the main page of my website, which contains the blog! I plan to add more here at some point, but for now it just contains the blog. I added a sprite that will link to the “About Me” page, which is what I plan to work on next. I’m really liking how the website is turning out, and I’m excited to keep working on it!
Hi Hi! I’m currently in the process of making a personal website and figured I would share it here! I haven’t worked on it much, but I have some basic stuff down. I haven’t done much with websites, so this is really just so I can learn HTML, CSS, etc. All the art on the website will be done by me, and I’m going to use it to yap about my interests. Anyway, this is mostly just for fun, but I want people to be able to see it! I hope you enjoy seeing the progress!
Devlog 4* Hey everyone! Sorry if the formatting is a bit weird for this log; my computer is having issues. Anyway, I’ve made quite a bit of progress. The goals now have a remove button so you can check them off, and I finished the pop-up for logging a workout! I’m getting pretty close to shipping this project! All that’s really left to do is fix some formatting issues and add a few more smaller features, such as format editing. Overall, I’m just really excited for people to be able to use this project, as I have had a lot of fun learning and making it! Again, sorry for the weird formatting (if it is weird), and I hope the next step in this process will be shipping!
Devlog 3 *
Hi everyone! I have successfully added the majority of the base functions, such as logging the calories and adding different goals. There are still currently only three sprites and one character, but I want to have at least 3 different characters when I put out the full project. Chances are, I will ship this version when I have everything fully functional, but I plan to continue updating it after it has been shipped to add more aesthetic features.

Other than the functionality, I have started to work on the other characters (I inserted a picture of one of them, but I don’t know if you can see it). What’s left to do is add the buttons that let you change the layout and log a workout, and ensure user data can be saved. I need to add the function that allows you to log a weight so that you can keep track of progress.

Overall, I really just want the website to have an old internet feel, and I hope I’m achieving that! I have some plans for other projects in the future, but I want to finish this one first and foremost. Anyway, thank you for reading!
Devlog 2 *
Hi everyone! I got the base layout all set and got the sprites put in. Right now, there is only one character, but I plan to add several more in the final version. There are three different sprites for the character, and you get a random one every time you load/reload the page.

The next thing I plan to do is add all the buttons and such that will actually make the website functional. If you notice the large time gaps in the devlogs, its becuase im kinda learning as I go with this.

Hi! I’m Lucy, and I am working to create a cute calorie counter website to make dieting more rewarding, as it’s something that many other people and I struggle with.
I have attached a drawing of the planned layout, and I am working to include several different characters that will hang out on top as little motivators! All the art on the website will be done by me, but if you are an artist and want to have your own characters on the website, let me know, and I will try to make that possible!
This is my first time making a more complicated website, so I can’t promise it will be perfect, but I’m having a lot of fun designing it! Hope people like it, and I will continue to post updates of the process.
