I am making an STM32 pager for me and my homies to talk without relying on our phones to undigitize our lives. we all have a big phone addiction and this might help us get off the damn phone. this thing has a whole built in keyboard, 5 mechanical keys, an E-Paper screen, and uses LoRa for long range communication. its got a battery JST connector (not in screenshot sorry) and a charging circuit. this thing is packed with QoL features. gonna learn onshape for this case.

After a few weeks of development, I am excited to introduce: TinyLilFella, the smallest STM32 devboard at least i can find. Featuring an STM32C071 and an absurdly small form factor, TinyLilFella is the devboard to go with if you need a smart dongle. no it doesn’t have wireless, susan. its this small. It’s got 10 GPIO, 6 of those being actual I/O and 4 being power! It also has an RGB LED to do whatever your heart desires!

Finished the first module! its the actual microcontroller. i really love the STM32’s, they’re just so damn neat. i also finished the PCB but if i open another kicad window my computer will die. the modules communicate via CAN and have magnetic connectors because thats so satisfying

Finished the schematic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YIPPIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! god this took so fucking long i ended up just scrapping wireless and instead going with ethernet. i did add a neopixel button and a 6-pin JST connector for whatever your heart desires. hey, 30 GPIO, 8 of which are ADC, isnt bad.

got a lot out of the way with this one. first i wanted to make a simple RP2040 devboard. it is not simple at all. 2 RP2040’s. each 16MiB of flash. SPI’d together into shit. an 8x8 LED matrix controlled by a MAX7219. currently adding an NFC read/writer an planning to add wireless, a couple programmable LED’s and buttons. stay tuned.
