Hi This is a midi pad
a small midi controller for like sound effects like a drumpad
Im Planning to have 8 keys for the drum sample/ notes
and 2 knobs one for a filter cutoff and the other one for reverb
Right now i have The initial Board matrix I got some inspo from other projs to make this cleaner

I FINALLY FINISHED
its almost ready to ship. all the features and settings are done all the tasks and settings are saveable and the tasks move when theyre done this took longer than it should but im finally done thank you all in this journey

I’ve added focustime which is a version of pomodoro which uses a stopwatch instead where you keep on going until you can an then itll give a break based on that time theres only a bit more features but soon enough we will be ready to ship !!!
It took me a while to get some math right but we got the break timing ready right now theres no apparent bugs beside infinite tasks but those can be patched soon.

I FINALLY GOT THE SETTINGS DONE
the app in its self is mostly done all systems work
all thats left is:

• Stopwatch pomodoro
• Saved tasks and settings
• QOL changes like
  • Tasks moving when you delete one
  • Collapsable Task Bar
• And UI tweaks right now everything is a little big and misaligned
  this has been such a fun project to work on. Ive learned alot about programming and working on your own projects so i hope this will help someone

I rewrote the code so it would be easier to add future features and to make it generally cleaner it took a while this is a lesson in writing cleaner code. i plan to finish the settings and add some tweaks to the task system using the class list

ive got a long way to go
ive added delete buttons for the task since you couldnt really ddo anything else if youre done
upcoming features are:

• overhaul of the code using classes
• better task system and design
• a working settings menu
• saved settings and tasks
• a stopwatch pomodoro system

I added a settings icon and a basic layout for the settings i havent added capability yet but its easily adjusted the other thing i added is that if you switch timer the time changes because before it just stayed but now it gets adjusted

really short coding time today i really wanted to try neo vim so i spent alot of my time configuring it and some time learning how to use it but i was able to configure a popup window that will be use for settings to change time and more

I changed the gui library from tkinter to customtkinter to have a more polished look and rounded corners. it took some time transferring each item to custom tkinter. And i added an alarm every time the timer hits 0 using pygame

i redesigned the gui with pyuibuilder and added the todo list system and allowed you to change the name of the tasks by double clicking them. There was this one bug where it changed all the names but yeah here it is now

I just finished the site i gave it a bit more of a matrix andd terminal theme and i really like the look i gave it

I was able to make a barebones website with a very very very very short intro about me with some socials and showing off my projects all i need now is some better design and some stuff

HI! I’m Jaden and im making my very own pomodoro timer thats simple enough to not distract you but has enough where its more than just a timer

right now all i have is a basic pomodoro timer with work time and break time with some basic controls
it took me some time to get timer working but its done
next time i hope to be able to customize the blocks and include a long and short break
