Devlog #6, done. I just finished compiling qmk, and i added a thing to tell you what layer ur on. this was a lot of fun and i learned alot. im totally doing the next event.
Dev log #4 almost there! I finally figured out the case. It’s not done but it’s going to be the sandwich style like in the tutorial. I’ve also figured out that I think I did the backlights wrong, and they need to be moved up. If you have any tips on where to place them please let me know!
Devlog #4 AFTER 7 GRULING HOURS I finished. The PCB. sob I’m glad I did it thought, its features include 8 keys, a rotary encoder, a screen, a little watermark, and key backlighting. now its cad time. that shouldn’t be hard. Right?
Devlog #3 I wired almost everything up. PCB is not as easy as I thought. So far, I wired up all the buttons, made the overall structure, outlined the board, wired the screen, and I’m starting to look into firmware. Also, I don’t know how people are writing devlogs that are like, 3 paragraphs long!? but overall I’m getting pretty far.
Devlog #2 I’m back at it. Today was a little hard just on account of I was trying to research a bunch of stuff on how to do the PBC. I’m def getting somewhere with this, it’s just taking a while. but I’m proud of my work.
Devlog #3 im taking a break from this project. Java script hurts my brain. in other news I finished making the clock and (kinda) fixed my background issue.
#2 devlog Yeah so, I didn’t do much coding, but I did start work on a custom pixel art background
First devlog so I actually worked on it yesterday to, but it was all just going into vscode and going into GitHub and linking them. It took well over an hour, and I needed a lot of help from a friend figuring out (´•︵•`). Now I know how to navigate vscode AND GitHub works. But onto the features. Features: Theres no real features except when you click the button it sends you to a peak playlist.
