This project takes any generic 858D hot air station and makes it flat and wall mounted for space effeciency. It has a wall-mount that screws into the wall, and allows the rest of the device to slot into it so you can take it off and use it somewhere else if you ever need to. it also has a removable cable wind and hot air gun holder, and due to its symmetry, it can be placed on either side of the device according to your desire. It features a non removable power cable to minimize the space required, it also has an embeded magnet to make the hot air gun know if its docked or not, so that it can power on and off automatically.

i designed the clip for the hot air gun itself. i originally tried to use a .step 3d model of the thing but it was laggy and wouldnt work properly so i decided to just measure it and that turned out to be easier. and i also added a space for a magnet because it uses a reed switch to detect if its docked, and made the part that stops the cable from sliding off a seperate piece to make printing easier and to make it more rigid. ill print everything tmrw morning.

admins: i accidentaly left lapse on for like ~5 ish minutes without me doing anything so feel free to deduct them but pls dont im working for polaris consider it a small gift :)

i designed the thing that goes on the wall and holds the thing, i made it this way so its not stuck to the wall incase i need it somewhere else. i also began on making the attachment that winds the wire and holds the hot air gun itself, next devlog that should be finished, printed the main body and it needed a slight adjustment, now im reprinting it with less infill and walls because it doesnt need that much structural rigidity.

Designing most of the thing in CAD onshape. made the bulk of it, mainly just the hole shell and the way it attaches to it, i still need to add holes for the power cable and the earth plug thingy, and i also need to make a system for it to be able to easily attach and detach on my wall
