What did you make?
I built BlackOS, a conceptual web-based operating system. It features an interactive boot screen, a functional login system, and a desktop environment with draggable windows.

What was challenging?
Managing the virtual file system (VFS) and ensuring the window management logic stayed smooth while keeping the interface responsive.

What are you proud of?
I'm proud of the custom boot animation and the modular architecture, which makes it easy to add new built-in apps like the terminal and calculator.

What should people know so they can test your project?
The system is open to everyone—no password required. You can drag windows around, use the terminal to browse the VFS, and explore the settings.

Working on the desktop environment for BlackOS. Currently implementing the Finder and terminal logic, as well as setting up the authorization system and VFS. Next up is refining the UI to match the macOS aesthetic.
