Integrating a separate screen onto my computer
I’ve managed to control the screen with a pie pico 2 from inside the computer. Both the pico and the screen fit within the laptop case.
I’ve started by spending around 3 hours sanding down the case to make my screen fit. 2 of which I’ve done at my school, so I didn’t record. The surface feels pretty smooth, and it looks like it’s part of the casing.
I’ve then soldered the pico to the screen via a solder bread board. I had to do a lot of soldering and desoldering as the connect wasn’t stable the first few times.
Where next:
I plan on adding a 3d print around the screen to somehow hide the white parts that aren’t showing anything.
I then want to solder the wire connecting the pico in the computer so nothing is sticking out
