This past hour i have worked on many ideas, i had to research a lot about downloading and stuff in js (i havent started and its gonna be lots of work inlcuding the ai generated notes). I have created a new setting and an upper dock in this project. It lets you use dark mode. Im gonna be setting the full project theme in purple for now and then change many things, the color theme isnt finalised yet and im deciding to make it light brown themed. I havent come across any bugs right now, the project is being functional and working well!

For the above bar (dock) i have made buttons which are not functional yet but im going to add many things which will be useful. I have also made a digital clock for the website. 3-5 commits from the past 1 hr and 13 mins. Thats all for tdy!

I have taken about 1 hour to update my main.js because there were new changes i want to make to my file. So first of all, it started with 4-5 html files each with different features and now i have combined them and commited to github repo. I have made about 2-3 github commits today. Now this project can store your name and save it in your browser and works everytime u comeback to login, and i have changed some behaviours of some buttons in this project. The picture below is the newly updated html file, its basically all 4 html files into one and it really didnt take that much time, even tho there were some bugs but easy to fix.

In css, i learnt things like animation, i also learnt some parts of it from previous hours of working. Here is the code that is included in my project files -

@keyframes slideUp {
from { transform: translateY (20px); opacity: 0; }
to { transform: translateY (0); opacity: 1; }
}

Finally, i have decided to come up with fun features and dont wanna make this project rlly boring. Thats all i have done within 1 hour.

I had loads on problem about the files arrangement. They were duplicated and had errors and github commits were not kinda workin…so it took a long time to fix that aswll.

So now github wont be updated with the current files and will soon make new commits. This pic below is the name input section where u gonna basically put ur name any way u like to and will be used throughout ur session. If web page is closed and reopened it wont most likely to safe ur name and i will be working on it towards the end of the update.

In this devlog i have worked a lot in javascript and started working on the html and a bit of css. There were loads of bugs with the main.js file and it took me like 10 to 15 minutes to get over it. I also made several github commits on the page.

I have made the homework html and worked on the stopwatch feature (which shows time u have taken doing a hw) which was kinda complicated but easy to deal it. So within the next devlog i will try to somewhat make the timetable page better with features u can use. Later on the timetable will have the best features to customize it however you want and will make the download button after some time.

So for about an hour and 15 min, i have added more html for different tasks in UrStudyBuddy so i dont put everything in the same html, and is quite easier for me aswll.

So the below pic is right now the current version of UrStudyBuddy (im tryna find a new name instead of Dashboard). As said in the below devlog i will be adding loads of features to make this one of the useful websites for studying. I will soon choose a new color and create new things within the dashboard.

This is UrStudyBuddy. I made this project cuz i thought it would be useful for some people or more. So i have decided to add some features which will help. Here u can make ur own timetable, add ur homework and list it all, and more ideas to be added.

So for now, i have made the starting screen and i am planning to completly run this project on vercel. I used npm create vite@latest and added the required files as shown on the image like the assets and all and this is what i have done so far.

I am yet to make a good UI which will take loads of time and adding some things which im yet to learn about.

This is my personal site. I have used quite fun features here to showcase what i could do till now. I have used w3schools website and the guide to make this. There were lots of problems especially when loading the js script to the browser and now everything is working well. My contact page had layout bugs but now fixed. I have used a beack as a background for the contact page and the top bar. I have used ice cream pic generator to get a random pic of ice creams, and the interactive background in the home page works well too (Used AI to make an explosion within the dots in home page only).

Ok so lastly, here are the new commands -

/zeno-bot-roll
/zeno-bot-book
/zeno-bot-duck
/zeno-bot-study
/zeno-bot-aura
/zeno-bot-news
/zeno-bot-pingChecks if the bot is online

I have worked really long for this one. I had to recode the CSS (took loads of time) and i will be adding a 3D model notepad later on this week. I have also changed some background especially for the navigation bar and the contact page. The pic below shows the nav bar. I have moved the home, about and contacts towards to right end next to the time. I spent 30 min fixing bugs on layout and javascript working issues.

I am pretty proud that i have spent 6 hrs (+30) min making app icons and finding the good ones. The 2 themes have live wallpaper which look all fine and the third theme is interactive and sensitive to cursor. I have fixed lots of bugs that were pretty easy but not that easy to solve. I also added a suprise mechanism where every 5 min something happens (watch out for the moon that pops up). That is all to cover up for this LucidOS's second ship. Below devlog/s have extra content covered up.

I have updated LucidOS with some features that might be able to make this desktop more cooler and better. I have added more widgets, fixed layout problems and turned all corner of icons and boxes into curves. I also added a secret button which appears every 5 min for a suprise, where u randomly get chosen a game to play (Used AI to fix some bugs here and generated the pixel grid and the required assets for this code)

I had quite a lot of problem especially with layout and all the stuff. I used w3school website a lot on this one and im proud i learnt a lot from this project and im able to make stuff like this. I have concentrated most of css and js codes into html itself (the css and js files are still there) fyi. I added some fun features aswll and added my github page and u can try out other projects from there aswll.

I have added some new things on this update and it is quite nice. I had to use AI to make two new things - the pixel art and the notepad 3d model (cuz i dont wanna download a 3d model for now). I added new things to the contact page where u can refer to my github page for some projects i have made for this challenge before. It took me loads of time to learn and figure out this 3d model using no websites and stuff.

So i used some pictures from the browser for free ice cream pictures here (jst for fun) to show what i can code for now. I had problems resolving the home page layout and putting out some features across the screen. I will soon be adding extra stuff and the web will be released pretty much by today or tommorow if possible

The pic below is jst a part of the website (ofc i wont release the whole thing immediatly) . So i wanna work more on adding extra features and i had loads of problems with html until i figured out the bugs with ai and fixed it. I will be adding more to the dock above and so 3d objects if possible for entertainement!

New Bugs have been fixed. The lumi bot did not have it’s input area so it finally works. To use Lumi bot, you have to type the name of the app and it will give you some info about it. Also the black theme app icons were not visible so this bug has been fixed aswl.

I made a webOS called LucidOS. I have used AI in some parts but it took quite a few hours to build this and have learnt loads of things as it is my first time. Lot of examples and ideas came into my mind and i could finally put it up here. It has its own bot and the UI and extra features make it amusing to me. I am proud that i learnt alot from this course of making a webOS. It has fun games and in-built generating facts and jokes (i havent used API) but it still is a good and works well now. I have added three themes of different colours to suite the user's vibe. Thats all there is i can tell about my project. Try it out to see more features.

This is gonna be one of the biggest updates i have done so far. I will continue to fixing bugs or adding more based on ratings. I have used AI a lot for bug fixes and for the new app - LucidTunes, but it is worth it. I have also added features like a widget which tracks ur latest apps and usage. I have recently updated icons and added a new black theme which has an interactive background and a new bot called Lumi which u can only ask about any app and its current features. I hate to say that i used AI for the tranfer of themes between switching them, but i have learned quite a lot of things from this code. And that’s all i have added on the last update. Added some comments in the github page on some things aswll to let you know about the code.

I built a Slack bot - Zeno. The bot can fetch real-time data from APIs like jokes, facts, dictionary definitions, and images, all directly inside Slack.

The hardest part was deployment and debugging.

Getting the bot to run continuously on a server using systemd
Handling API failures (like broken or missing responses)
Making sure Slack slash commands respond correctly using ack()

To test the bot, users can use these Slack slash commands:

/zeno-bot-help → shows all available commands
/zeno-bot-fact → returns a random fact
/zeno-bot-joke → returns a joke
/zeno-bot-define → gives definition of a word
/zeno-bot-image → shows a random image
/zeno-bot-ping → checks bot latency

Im actually pretty much proud of making one slack-bot that i was glazing quite a lot since it was my first time every trying out such a project!

Zeno-Bot can finally run 24/7. Here is what i have done within half an hour -

-Set up Slack Bolt app using Socket Mode

-Connected environment variables using a .env file

-Integrated external APIs for real-time data .

LucisOS can finally change it’s theme to blue! Apps are finally proportioned properly and new fixes and bugs have been solved. (Well me and AI had to work together to figure out the plan and it kinda works for the theme changing setting).

I created a Settings app that lets users switch between the default purple theme and a blue theme. I also added a Surprise Me app that randomly opens one of the installed apps. And things got better since then,

What i added so far -

Settings app
Blue theme
Theme switching system
