I shipped my personal portfolio website at abhiramv.vercel.app, establishing a centralized, high-performance digital hub to showcase my technical projects, skills, and contact information. Built with a minimalist frontend and deployed on Vercel, the site prioritizes a clean UI. By focusing on ease-of-navigation, the layout lets the shipped work serve as the primary focus, without unnecessary visual distractions & animations. An issue that I encountered was that building a FastAPI backend and CORS for a frontend-only site was time-intensive. To combat this, I chose to use vite, which requires a basic backend.

New day, new milestone. I said I’d be done earlier, but some things came up and I need to put a little more time into it. I think I’ll be done very soon. I’ve added this page to the portfolio to tell people about me. I had to blur out some details.

I got to deploy the site today. I’d say I’m around 2/3 the way there, but I have some more to do. So far, I’ve experimented with design (and failed a lot), and have added a page for my projects.

I started work on my portfolio today! Hoping it will be done by Thursday. I themed it around an older-style airport flip board (I’ve loved airplanes since I was young).
