Just deployed my own website and I got to say it was pretty fun! Had a little bit of a problem with the deployment because I am not awfully familiar with git and I messed up the repo a bit at the start but figured it out in the end. It’s definitely gonna get updated as time goes and not be just a static page but for now I think it’s a fun website with some APIs in the bottom as well so visit it and see some cute kitties or learn about the weather!

Close to finishing my website, it’s a very simple static website right now but still it’s fun I am gonna update it as time passes so it’s more modern and professional looking!

Finished my John Pork Slack Bot in a day and honestly feel quite accomplished. He can do some nice things like tell Quran verses or the weather or even show you some nice food! It wasn’t a really complicated project but still it had some difficulties for example hosting it on Ngrok so it’s downloadable for everyone took some time but in the end with a little bit of troubleshooting help from Google Gemini I got it done. Thanks to @amateur_tech_guy for inspiration on how to make a nice README and hope you all use John Pork for your daily weather forecast or a funny joke!

Finally figured out how to actually make John Pork not only exist as a Slack Bot but actually be downloadable on Slack because I struggled a bit with the redirect URLs and with cloud networking but figured it out in the end (with a little bit of LLM help).

Finally got an idea and finished the schematic it’s essentially gonna be a music controller as the title suggests and what’s gonna be cool about it is that the oled screen and backlit leds will pulsate to the music that plays which will be a pain in the ass to program but hey we’ll see.

so this kicad and in general pcb building always interested me but holy cow is it a complicated and difficult thing to get into and understand, but I believe with trial and error I am gonna get better at this so let’s see. right now I am at the total start so all you gonna see is just the PCB editor stuff. Don’t really know what I am gonna do exactly to make my hackpad special but I have some ideas.
