More on the point and click minigame: I inserted all of the art into spritesheets and started creating events for each of them. Unfortunately the problem from last time persisted and I once again updated the NW.js to no avail. My plan is to get into the desired map and change the font and insert the character dialogue so that I can go back to this minigame and use the same settings but I gotta solve the crashing-when-clicking-the-map-issue first. I’ve taken a screenshot of what the computer interface (minigame) looks like right now.

I’ve been working on a story based sidescrolling game for the past year (probably about 100 hrs) and decided to start tracking my time here after finding out about Stardance. Today consisted of a short session, picking up after not working on it for a month. I worked on setting up a point and click minigame. This consisted of creating a new map, fixing the parallax aspects and figuring out how to work the with the plugin Mouse system ex (I originally tried using another one but it caused problems I couldn’t manage to solve) and dealing with RPG Maker randomly deciding it was my time and constantly crashing (this was due to an outdated Nw which I fixed outside of the timelapse) Next time I will insert all of my assets (I’ve already completed all art for the game) into this system.
