I’m a very slow learner, so it took me 2 hours to get the hang of this… I have coded a tiny bit of the Avocado OS desktop, though. I like how it’s coming together. :)

Behold! The touch grass timer: the timer that tells you to touch some grass after a given amount of time! It has many uses (including telling your cousin to get off her iPad and go play outside). You can time screen time or use it as a kitchen timer. (The default message tells you to go touch some grass after the timer goes off) But you can change the message to whatever you want, and you can even customize the theme. Have fun :)

Final Touch Grass Update Before shipping! (I hope): I got everything done! The timer, setting the themes, the custom message, I finished it yesterday night but I was only able to dump my heartbeats from Wakatime just now. I’m proud to announce that your computer will now be able to tell you to touch some grass :)

Touch Grass update #2: Today, I finished the basic user interface of the timer! I got the themes up/running, the space to set the timer is good, and the theme dropdown works too! For the next devlog, I hope to finish coding the pop-up reminder and the part of the timer that will run in the background. It’s only a short time before your computer will tell you to go touch some grass!

I know there’s a huge time gap between my first devlog to my last but I finally got it approved! I’ve tested out the code and everything. I’m happy with how this project turned out. When rating, please let me know if I can improve. Thank you! And I hope you liked it as much as I did :)

Touch Grass Update: I have made part of the user interface for this! I used a bunch of CSS/C++ (I forgot what they call this)variables to set the interface, which is why I only have so little… I’m planning to code just a front end for this because I’m not planning to connect this to a server or anything. You know… It’s summer. Now I need to go touch some grass. Cya!

I made a simple hangman game you can play against a computer! It uses HTML, and I used Google Gemini to explain my bugs in the code. I wasn't able to log all of my time on this project, though, so it might be A LOT less than what I actually spent. You play against the computer with a preset list of words(with a hint before you start entering your first guess). Have fun :)

I made an application that you can use when you need an Idea or have an art block. You can generate up to five random words that will give you an idea for your next art project or sketch. It was a fairly simple application to code, and I was too lazy to debug the code myself, so I used the help of Google Gemini to recheck my code. It was mostly just typos because I was probably going too fast. Enjoy!

The art idea generator is finally finished! I was too lazy to debug my code so I used gemini… Surprisingly, it gave me a thorough explanation of my errors and the code to fix it. I hope you like it :)
