WebOS is an interactive, browser-based desktop simulator powered by an event-driven kernel.js that handles application registration, settings configurations, and scoped localStorage persistence.

The environment features a window-management module providing draggable, resizable, minimizable, and maximizable application windows, snap layouts, alongside a desktop interface equipped with a click-and-drag selection lasso, launchable desktop shortcuts, context-menu capabilities, a taskbar for switching between active applications, a system tray, and notifications.

It comes pre-installed with a Welcome app, a persistent Notepad app featuring automatic local saving, a Task Manager, and a Settings app that allows users to customize accent colors, toggle dark mode, and change background wallpapers.
