Did some more css styling where I added an animated effect to the buttons. I also changed the css properties such that when the letter is clicked now, a card is displayed with the letter message inside it. I was also able to remove the square dashed border that was being shown every time the video started from the beginning using a css attribute.
Now, I plan on working on the ReadMe for the project and then ship it!!!

I did some more styling of the page and succefully added the cake animation and “candle blowing” feature.
Now, I plan on to work on the letter itself where a “card” pops up with the letter when the letter button is pressed
Devlog 2:
Since the last time, I just created the background for the website using Canva and did some minimal styling. Then I also replaced the letter viewing button to the purple gift.
Now, I plan on adding an animated cake underneath the confetting and do a lil more styling to make it look pretty :)

The idea is to basically create a birthday website for my friends who live like across the world for me. I want to have an appreciation letter and an animated cake on the side. I just got the basic functionality of the letter done. Now I plan to add the cake and style the webpage to make it look pretty!
Devlog 8:
Fixed the issue mentioned in Devlog 7 but now the code only shows 2 cards per column whereas I want it to show 3 :(
Devlog 7:
The issue previously mentioned has been resolved but now there is a gap between the add button card and the drama card when only one card is present.
CSS is not my best partner today TT
Devlog 6:
After shipping the MVP, I decided to do some styling changes where the Drama Cards get organized from left to right.
After sometime, it worked, but now there is a gap between the heading and the list so I am trying to figure out how to resolve this issue
Devlog 5:
Time to Ship!
The basic functionality is done. I had to just do a couple of bug fixes. I think it turned out pretty good.
Devlog 4:
Aligned some texts and buttons of the website. I also added a menu button so the users can navigate through the webpages easily.
Next, i have to do a bit more style changes and then the MVP would be done :)
Devlog 3:
Hey there! I am Dhriti (DK) and one of the projects I have been working on is creating a watch list webapp so that I could keep track of all the dramas I want to / already watched
After completing all the basic functionality, I finally started working on some styling. I created a bg with some of my fav k/c - dramas and used some css to create a shadow and different “cards” for the text.
Now I need to create a task bar and align text.
For the past 2 hours or so I have been working on getting the basic functionality of the buttons. I know it looks really ugly right now but I wanted the basic functionality to be done before I style it.
There are still a couple of buttons that don’t work as intended, so I plan to work on those now TT
I have just been working on to setup some of the backend stuff (MongoDB, Node, etc) so that when i actually write code for the website it works.
