I’m working on a reinforcement learning photo model that can determine what post-processing settings can be used to make an image look like certain filters (infrared filters, sunglasses, etc)
Right now my biggest bottleneck is waiting for training. This test on a simple setting took over 16 hours to train. I am also not very familiar with RL, so I’m learning as I go.
I added final UI improvements ahead of shipping and reduced redundant code
Added a stacking calculator to show how well a stack of images will look based on their signal to noise ratio
Did some compression work to bring the download size down from 16 MB to only 4 MB. Mostly compressing images, but also making a new catalog, reduced catalog for stars.
So, it turns out I didn’t need to enter all those lines manually, there are saved files out there for it.
I got more constellations (Hydra, Bootes) and added offical International Astronomy Union names when applicable
Ha, I added orion and aries. This took forever b/c orion has so many connections
I’m working on an offline star chart generator. I’ve been working with Astronomy Engine and the Yale Bright Stars Catalog to find the proper motion of the stars. I’ve only added the Big Dipper, but I plan add more of the 88 IAU constellations.
I got the app to build to an exe! One headache and one Ecuador vs Curaçao match later. Didn’t get to test the goal scoring notification :(

Got the UI working and scraping ESPN data, I need to wait to make sure I’m covering all the different event, so my Hackatime duration is low
I gave up on creating the PCB with just basic logic circuits. I added an arduino and it only took like 40 minutes to finish.
Worked on creating the timer inputs in a PCB. This takes SO LONG. I had no idea, I’ve never made a PCB even close to this complex before.
I created the intial logic design for my custom camera intervalometer. I used logisim to create a counter for the interval and created a bulb mode, (50% on/50% off) as well as a regular shooting mode (1 pulse every interval)
I actually used my project. Here is a shot I took of Bishop Pass in the Eastern Sierra Nevada mountains.
