so i decided to make a custom pcb
im also going to start designing the final version
btw, will my charging circuit explode?

Your circuit might not explode but it will probably be really, really hard to hand solder those tiny components on the back. You have plenty of space to put those components under A1. I recommend you make them at least 0603, but if you have space, 0805 and 1206 would be better.
