APSwiftly is the official Discord bot for APStudy, a free AP exam study platform. It helps run our community with moderation, volunteer-hour tracking, contributor check-ins, reminders, leveling, and study tools.
Hey! I’m shipping this because I’m 88 stardust from an iPad, so it means the world to me that I still have 6 tracked hours from the Stardance program.
This bot is something I’ve been working on for years, but only through Stardance did I have the motivation to port it from the previous coding language of aoi.js to Discord.js, which avoids all the bugs that come with a smaller coding language. With that being said, this project was never meant to be shipped, so much (quite almost all) of the hours were not logged.
I hope you are able to find this bot cool and a little bit unique as well.

One of the most useful parts of APSwiftly is its logging system. APStudy has a Discord community with contributors, volunteers, and students, so being able to understand what changed in the server helps me and the staff manage it.
Message edits are a good example of how the system works (see screenshot) and prevents bad actors from being… bad.
All configuration happens inside Discord, too! Through dropdowns, channel selectors, and buttons.
