I made some big changes to ZemalVerse OS!

After submitting my first version, I got feedback that I should make the design more personal and explain my project better. So I decided to work on it again instead of just changing a few colours.

My first version had a purple Sakura wallpaper and four simple windows. This time, I changed the whole background to a nighttime bedroom and added picture icons for the apps.

I also changed how the apps look! My Projects is now a little CD collection where you can switch between my projects. I changed Travel into a camera, and my Journal looks more like a diary. I also added a search bar, a timer, a little black cat and a floating ghost!

I spent quite a bit of time changing the CSS because I wasn’t happy with how the fonts and windows looked. At one point, my whole layout broke because the main CSS styles weren’t being applied properly, so I had to fix that too.

I also cleaned up my HTML, CSS and JavaScript to make them shorter and easier for me to understand. I tested the updated design and pushed it to GitHub Pages.

I’m much happier with how my little desktop looks now! I also updated my README to explain how the project started, what I changed and what I learned along the way.
