The dictionary was broken according to the reviewers and I believe it was taking such a long time to load because it was pulling data from the apidictionary link so I changed it to the datamuse. This is what I think that happened. SO using claude for help I connected datamuse back to it and at first it did not work until I fixed another error (which was just spacing) and then I validated that the datamuse will work. And yes according to google it works and will continue to work.
