Note for the reviewer: Please DM me on Slack if you have any issues. I have worked a lot and can’t afford to have my effort go past the deadline and get lost.
Worked the whole day, struggled, and finally learned to complete the firmware for my MP3 player. Tomorrow I will update the bom.csv as per the new wiring (due to new code and approaches) and refine the main readme.md. Hush, guys, I’m going to sleep now. Cyaaa!
I had to make an enclosure for our MP3 player, but since i don’t have the hardware and components shipped yet, and the reviewer said that I have to try my best to design the enclosure before I even get the components I have decided to use the 3mm transparent acrylic sheets to make the enclosure. With that, I can cut the sheets according to the dimensions on the spot and stick them with acrylic glue. For the buttons and ports, I will have to drill holes of the correct size. Let’s hope this works for a wonderful transparent case MP3 player :)
Took 10+ hrs, but I forgot to record. Did the digital wiring and connection of each component in the MP3 player. Also uploaded wiring .png and wiring .svg to the repo.
Drafted a rough bill of materials, later finalized bom.csv, and added it to the project repository on GitHub. Simultaneously, debugged the code and created the player graphics. Next task: get the hardware grant, build it, take measurements, and fit it into an enclosure to be designed in Onshape. Simultaneously, check wiring, verify it, and then draft a PCB. Note: 1. After thoughtful recommendations, this project was unshipped from Macondo to ship it on Stardance, as Macondo is about to end. Journals made here after will reflect all my work on this project on Stardance. 2. It is taken care of that no double-dipping happens, or that there is no duplicate project that exists or is shipped on Macondo. 3. Have attached only some screenshots because the address was being revealed. 4. I have worked for 7 hours until now, but since the project was shifted from Macondo, it shows about 3 hrs.
After starting a project- an MP3 handheld player and doing good research, I have installed all the required software for ESP32 i.e. Espressif and also started coding for the connection of the ESP32 with other components. Simultaneously, I have started designing the UI for my music player. Up next task: make BOM.csv to get the grant for the hardware and start building further.
Hello, I am making my second Stardance project; it’s a classic mp3 player. I have connected Hackatime with the project and Wakatime extensions for Onshape and started forging my project; I also made a GitHub repo and connected with the project. The next task is to make a BOM.csv to get a grant to complete my project and also start designing the enclosure in Onshape for the player, once I get the correct hardware component dimensions.
