:Me: i finally got friday working again 😭this project nearly died a few days ago.i was changing the git setup and somehow ended up with most of my actual friday code gone/replaced. i genuinely thought i had lost the whole thing.so most of my time went into recovering the code, checking old files, backups, bytecode, tests, and figuring out which version was actually real.and now friday is finally running again.the video is basically me testing it for real.i can talk to friday through the livekit voice setup, ask it about its own codebase, make it inspect files, find where things are implemented, create work, use hermes for coding tasks, and then check whether the result actually worked.i also added a capability system so friday doesn’t need every tool loaded all the time. it can check what is available and pick what it needs.i’m working on browser control, better coding autonomy, memory, research tools and a system where i should eventually be able to say something like:“friday, build me this.”and then just leave it working.it should research the idea, inspect the repo, plan it, write the code, run it, find bugs, fix them and keep going until it actually works.still a lot left to build, but this is the first time in a while where friday actually feels like friday again.watch the video and give me a command to try next.make it difficult lol
