Yesterday, I completed the other two commands I had in mind (getting a tab, and getting a tip). Today, I spent this session trying to get the bot running 24/7, and it did not go smoothly 😭

I kept getting “fetch failed” errors when the bot tried to connect to Slack, and I spent way too long checking tokens and scopes before I realized it was actually just my school wifi blocking the connection the whole time. Once I moved everything over to Nest and tried again, it connected instantly.
I then set it up as a systemd service so it keeps running on its own and restarts itself if it crashes. And it worked!!
All 3 commands (/tab-of-the-day-ping, /tab-of-the-day-get, /tab-of-the-day-tip) are working now. It’s ready to ship :)))
