Thumba to Space - final deploy grind!
My localhost was working but Streamlit Cloud was giving white screen. Fixed it - it was my CSS and unsplash image links getting blocked.
Added M83 Outro embedded YouTube player with fallback audio for college wifi, plus 5 quiz questions, ISS tracker map, and Kuttan mascot animations.
Site is now live at thumba-to-space streamlit link. Testing NASA APOD and Mars rover images now - some images still get blocked on college wifi so switching to backup unsplash links. It took some time to change the code from online to offline and the website kept showing old code. It was some hassle but in the end I was able to finish it off.It still need some work to do but for today I think this came out pretty well.I’ve added groot,images,and videos. Hope for more tomorrow!!!.

Working on Thumba to Space update - 2hr grind
Finally fixed the deployment bug. My Streamlit link kept giving white screen, found it was theme CSS issue. Changed to deep space black (#0a0a23) and added st.snow() for star effect. Looks so much better now!
Tested new link: https://mtvjugafrkxgj8n6qcbwxe.streamlit.app/ - it’s live!
This project is special for me - I’m from Kilimanoor, near Thumba where India launched first rocket on bicycle in 1963. Want to make space history fun for Kerala students.
Fixed GitHub repo too - thumba-to-space-3 now public.
Next: adding ISRO launch timeline.

Just shipped Thumba to Space 🚀!
Made an interactive Streamlit website celebrating India’s space journey that started at Thumba, Thiruvananthapuram in 1963 — where rockets were carried on bicycles!.This one took some time to delploy but at last the codes came out right and I was able to make it . So guys lets keep on going(! !).
I added a special section for my hometown Kilimanoor (home of Raja Ravi Varma and mine too) and made a Rocket Builder!
Built from scratch in VS Code, deployed on Streamlit Cloud.
