Schematic Complete!
I finally finished my schematic! At first I used matrix wiring for the switches, but then I ran out of pins because of how many stuff i wanted to use. Luckicly, @agilfor sent me spiralling down the wonderful rabbit hole that is charlieplexing!
I took SO long to figure it out, because most charlieplexing tutorials either don’t show you a clean schematic, or are for LEDs. I got quite frustrated, but with a little help again, I got the wiring.
Because I needed 4 pins to run 9 switches (N pins can run N(N-1) switches) I could run upto 12! So I took the rotary encoder switches and added them to the grid! Sadly, I have one extra switch I can use, but I didn’t see why I would need it, because I want a neat 3x3 grid on my macropad!
The OLED also took some figuring out, but I got the symbol eventually.
I didn’t understand footprints, but a little researching led to me knowing how to do it repeatedly without help! That’s what rabbit holes are for I guess :)
