Guys, Finally the V2 is done and live check my github and try & test and do give the feedback and reviews its been a great journey I learned a lot while making this do like and follow. I can’t ship it right now my previous ship is still pending its been more then 2 week about 3 week still pending if anyone could help do reply please that’s it thanks for connecting. here is the whole story:

FOU started as my first serious Python project and was originally just a simple CLI watchlist where you could add, remove, save and reload coin symbols.

V1.1 made that version more stable and usable with better structure, save handling and a standalone Windows build.

V2 is the biggest jump so far. I added live prices, coin validation, multiple-coin adding, better formatting, safer save-file handling, and a hosted FastAPI backend so the CoinGecko API key stays off the client.

I also added caching, rate limiting, network error handling, and cross-platform builds for Windows, Linux and macOS using GitHub Actions.

The V1.1 reviews also showed me that the project explanation was still too technical for beginners. Some people didn’t understand what a crypto watchlist was or thought it involved wallets.

So I’m improving that too:

FOU is still a learning project and my first serious one, so a big part of this has been learning by building.

Next I’m focusing on V2 feedback and polish before moving toward V3.
