The goal of this project is to create an advanced version of the grade viewing website that my school uses, which is Synergy/StudentVUE. My first goal is to make it work within my school district and then universal to all school districts, and my next goal is to access information such as grades, attendance, and other documents. My work so far has mainly been researching ways to get data from a sign in portal in accessing the student’s data by making an API. That means that there wasn’t a lot of coding today. So far I was able to accomplish establishing communication to the website by using my own credentials as an example. The goal for the actual website is to have advanced features such as a graph of grade progression, hypothetical assignments (and how they affect your grade), grade needed calculator, and a VERY aesthetic UI. The last one was a really big reason for this project. P.S. The image below was a test, first with a working email and a password, then second with a working email but wrong password.
