Clearing Up What VisionLab Is
A few reviews made me realize I didn’t explain VisionLab’s purpose clearly enough.
Some people saw VisionLab as a PC version of Snapchat because it currently has camera filters. That’s not what I’m building.
VisionLab is the starting point of a larger computer-vision project. The current version is intentionally simple: real time camera input, image processing, and a GUI. The goal is to build foundation before moving towards things like hand detection, gesture recognition.
Some people also pointed out areas I can improve, including performance, code structure, and executable size. Those are valid areas I need to improve as the project grows.
So no, VisionLab isn’t meant to be a “fancy camera app.” v1.2.2 is just the beginning.
I’m really happy to announce that VisionLab finally has its own logo!
