ALMOST DONE!!! I did some more CAD and got the main system all figured out, as well as making it a lot smaller. I realized that the motors I would be purchasing would come in a pack of 4, and I was only utilizing three, but with this new system I can use all 4! I should be able to submit the project for funding by tomorrow! I’ll try to post more thorough and frequent updates once I get to the building process. Thanks @AStarCoder again, I did end up using the spokes for the wheel! (The design looks a bit goofy, but I’ll be able to touch it up later).

Looks great!
As just a suggestion, instead of a rail system you could use LiDar like a roomba and use something like that to move the car
And also if not a car, maybe use a 3d printer type solution, and all you do is wear a cap with another module on it that tracks where you are so that the toolbox always follows a safe distance behind you
And so instead whenever you click a button, on like the brim of you cap, a winch slowly drops it down like a crane
The module has a clip, along with 2 buttons, one to activate/deactivate following, and one to bring down/up the box
Tho this is a lot to add so maybe not
I have been thinking about that crane like thing, but I decided not to do it so I can keep costs as low as possible. I’ve decided to have the tools hang above you in a safe way, that way you can just reach up and grab what you need. I’ll post another update soon with more info.
