@lowpolyphosphorus

please dont fully vibe code everything or use ai on your journals, BOTH are against the rules!

@Mohamedd

ā€œMay I ask what made you suspect that I used Vibe Coding? I’d like to clarify that I did not use Vibe Coding to create the project; I worked on and developed it myself.ā€
@lowpolyphosphorus

@lowpolyphosphorus

i’m not going to argue with you on this but it is painfully obvious and you know you vibe coded it… what I will point out is that the journals themselves are very clearly pasted from ChatGPT, the response you just sent was also from ChatGPT as you didn’t even bother to remove the quotation marks and 2 hours is simply not enough time to program anything close to this yourself

@Mohamedd

Ultimately the result is what matters most I believe that tool management and proper project planning are far more important than writing the code itself Sure I didnt write any code by hand but I used various libraries editors runtime environments and tools and I fixed a ton of errors šŸ™„ By the way Ive built several projects for people that are running very smoothly including an AI Agent of my own that even a skilled programmer like you might not know how to build As for the time I could have easily inflated it because WakaTime tracks time regardless of whether the code comes from me or AI I entered the competition hoping to win even the smallest prize a free domain but it looks like I wont get it since I didnt put in enough effort By the way thanks for pointing out the quotation marks And youre right I use ChatGPT to write devlogs not to generate the thoughts for me but because I am from Egypt and English isnt my primary language and ChatGPT translates much more intelligently for me @lowpolyphosphorus

Hack Club programs such as Stardance do not allow more than 30% AI written code. If you truly believed that tool management and proper project planning are more important than you wouldn’t be using AI at all. Fully AI programmed projects are against the rules and will not be accepted and you are wasting your time. As for the ā€œseveral projectsā€ you have built, I do not care. Time inflation is considered fraud and can get you permanently banned. WakaTime may track AI programming time but guess what it also categorizes where the code came from and event organizers will mark a project for fraud if it has inflated time as the data they receive is much more detailed than you may think and this includes code diffs (as far as I know) and time graphs of when you were actually typing on your keyboard vs when an ai was programming. You have no right to be mad in any form that they wont accept your slop project.

@Mohamedd

Firstly, I’m not familiar with this 30% thing. Secondly, I’m not a beginner to fall into the trap of the wake-time reports. The code was entirely generated outside of VC, but inside VC, the code was written entirely by hand and also divided well by me, unlike the AI result which outputs the entire code. As for the fraud you’re talking about, I’m no longer interested in the competition at all because I saw projects that deserved the awards, and I didn’t want to compete anyway. Two hours isn’t enough time to win anyway. And the last thing I want to tell you, my friend, believe me, any complete project isn’t just code. You need to understand this because we’ll reach a point in the future where anyone who doesn’t follow the method I used to get good results with minimal effort regarding the code is a waste of time and outdated in their thinking. @lowpolyphosphorus

@lowpolyphosphorus

I think you need to understand that what you have attempted to submit is considered ultra slop, ai trash.
