Dev Log #7

Worked on adding some mini games to Nexus. I started with Tic Tac Toe, it was my first time making an actual game and I wanted to keep it simple.

Added:

• Built the Tic Tac Toe board and game logic
• Added a VS Computer mode so you can play against NOVA
• Added win, lose and draw detection
• Added different messages from NOVA
• Made the game restartable without breaking the OS (Fixed)
• Kept it as its own app so it doesn’t mess with the rest of the Apps

After getting that working, I wanted another small game, so I started working on Memory.

• Added the Memory card system
• Added card flipping and matching
• Added turns and match tracking
• Added a win state when all pairs are found
• Added NOVA reactions when you finish it

Still had a bunch of small bugs while making both of them, especially around game state and resetting everything properly, but it was actually really fun seeing the games work inside the Nexus.
