First, I assigned footprints to everything based on LCSC. I really hope everything is correct since if even one part fails then the whole board is down. There’s not much more to this, it’s just a really mundane and repetitive task.
After that I had more fun doing the layout of the board. That took me a while due to the crazy amount of passives, but I think it’s a good looking layout and I’m happy with it.
I also routed the differential pairs of the USB-C since I wanted that to the perfect before I started routing anything else.
